monthly musings | september

Hello and welcome to what will hopefully become a (fairly) regular series. I love reading posts of what people have been up to and I feel like this would be a good way to look back on how my year has been so let's hope I can make this fairly regular!

what I've been doing:

Relaxing. Having had what feels like a summer of rush rush rush. I've barely spent more than a week at home consecutively and when I have been home I've been working 4-5 days a week. But for the last week I finished working and have finally got the chance to have a more of a quiet and chilled summer which I'm incredibly thankful for.

what I've been watching:

Killing Eve: Everyone and their goldfish seems to have watched and recommended this series and I have finally started to watch it and am very much enjoying it! I'm halfway through season 1 and honestly don't really know where it's going to go but I'm very much looking forward to finding out.
Peaky Blinders: I watched Peaky Blinders when it originally came out and loved it but since the new series came out and it had been a while since the old one I decided to start re-watching it again. I forgot how good it was and I'm currently nearing the end of series 4 and cannot get enough of it!

what I've been listening to:
Post Malone: this isn't my traditional style of music that I tend to listen to but his latest album has been something that I've found myself gravitating towards (which pleases my boyfriend greatly). Favourite tracks at the moment are 'Circles' and 'Thousand Bad Times'.

what I've been thinking:
My Birthday! My birthday is right at the start of October (3rd to be exact) and every year without fail I start counting down in the summer. I'm not sure why I get so excited for it but I really do and this year is no different. I cannot wait for it this year though I'm a little sad to be leaving my teenage years completely :(

So that's it for my monthly musings for September. Let me know what you've been up to!
